Flatmates
REA Group
Find a room in a share house or a flatmate for your place. Very popular with new arrivals and students.
Our review
Most newcomers start in a share house, and Flatmates is where Australians list spare rooms. Filters for budget, bills included and furnished rooms make it easy to find something quickly.
Good
- Lots of rooms in every city
- Furnished and bills-included filters
- Message listers directly
Not so good
- Paid upgrade to message new listings first
Newcomer tip
Never pay a bond or rent before you've seen the room and signed something. Bonds should be lodged with your state's bond authority.
